Wow! What a wonderful surprise to find this delicious Mexican restaurant in Hong Kong. Everyone in our group loved this food and we eat a LOT of authentic Mexican food. We were very impressed with the flavors, friendly staff, and various vegetarian and gluten free options. Multiple dishes had vegetarian alternatives, such as the carrot “al pastor” tacos which were some of the best tacos I have ever had. The staff was great about confirming which dishes were gluten free. We got mole chicken, carrot tacos, esquites, chips and guacamole, rice and beans. Everything tasted great and the service was wonderful too!

What a find! We were taking a lunch break from working in our room and stumbled across this little jewel. We were greeted instantly and warmly. We're old and have less appetite than we used to. We ordered a chicken burrito bowl to split and hoped it would be enough. I got an extra order of guacamole because, yum, guac. We got some nonalcoholic drinks because we're working. The cinnamon coffee was amazing. The lovely young lady serving us brought out complimentary chips with condiments, so we knew we'd have enough to eat. We nibbled on a couple, and then the dish was served. I wish I'd taken a picture of it before we started digging. Lovely presentation. It was so good. We kept dishing it out. I like my food a bit spicier than she does, and the pico de gallo side was an excellent addition. Add the guac, and it was filling and very tasty. The service was just right, caring, attentive, great English, checking on us to make sure we were doing well, but not so much as to be intrusive. We left with fully, happy tummies and very pleased palates. Want some Mexican food in Hong Kong Central? You can't go wrong here. We're so happy we saw it and stopped in.

I love their tacos and churros, and the atmosphere is great. The Tacos de Pescado feature freshly made, crispy seabass and flavorful salsa roja, all wrapped in soft, warm tortillas.The churros are perfectly fried and rolled in sugar and cinnamon. They come with a delicious salted caramel sauce for dipping. So delicious.

I had an amazing experience at this Mexican restaurant! From the moment we walked in, Michelle made us feel incredibly welcome with her warm smile and friendly attitude. Her service was attentive, thoughtful, and truly made our meal even more enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was bursting with authentic flavor and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was vibrant yet cozy, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a great meal. Highly recommend this spot, especially if you're lucky enough to be served by Michelle!

Delicious tacos especially the al pastor. Highly recommend to try the birria, super tender. Had a wonderful service too. Overall a great dinner!

It may be a bit off the beaten path but it is worth it!! Hands down the best Mexican food that I’ve had outside of Mexico (and the west coast). The birria was so tender and juicy, the sauces complimented it perfectly and my drink was perfectly made. The service was incredibly friendly and the music was great. It felt like having dinner at a friend’s house, thank you Michelle! Highly recommend!

Had the loveliest experience at Chicano. The team here are so warm not to guests and each other. They're also very acquainted with the tight menu, so it made for a very easy ordering experience. For two, we ordered the corn and guac + chips for starters and the al pastor and fish tacos as our mains. We thought each dish complemented each other so well. We also ordered all of the desserts. The cake is so light while the churros were so crisp. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant for a good time out. Was also served by Michelle BTW

The Birria was a standout! The beef was super tender and the consommé had this rich, spicy, beefy flavor that was so good. Definitely recommend adding their spicy salsa on the side for an extra kick. The Pork Carnitas were also great—crispy on the outside, tender inside, and went perfectly with their fresh jalapeño salsa. If you’re into bold flavors, this dish won’t disappoint. Already planning to go back on a Tuesday for their half-price tacos! Would totally recommend making a reservation if you’re heading there on Taco Tuesday—it gets busy. Great spot for a casual dinner with friends or a fun date night.
